Christoph von Dohnányi returned in October 2019 to the Orchestre de Paris with a program of Brahms, Ligeti and Haydn. Dohnányi conducted the world premiere of Ligeti's double concerto with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra at the 1972 Berlin Festival.
