The Romanian pianist Radu Lupu returned to Boston to play Mozart’s sunny A major Piano Concerto, which the orchestra had last played at the 2012 Tanglewood Festival in a very different reading with Paul Lewis. After the interval, Christoph von Dohnányi led Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony, a work he has conducted with almost all the world’s great orchestras.
